HELLO, New here, noticed how the question of softening polymer clay has been an issue here, find and discount store, and buy a pint of mineral oil, for a couple of dollars. Frist take your dried out lumpy clay and put it in a plastic bag fold over or zip lock, add several drops of mineral oil and put in pocket when you think about it give it a squeeze or two. If after a couple hours it seems not to be soft enough you can add few more drops. How ever if you give it to much no problem you do what they call leaching the clay to get it firmed up enough to work with. Hoped I helped some one here.
