| Hi! I was just wondering if anyone else has tried to use the Sculpey Glaze? I have tried it and notice that it peels off after not very long. I was wondering if I was doing something wrong or if it was the glaze? I normally just sand and buff, but sometimes I like a llittle extra shine. Maybe someone knows of something better I could use? Thanks a bunch! |

Hmmm... I haven't had a problem with the Sculpey Glaze as far as peeling is concerned. How many coats did you use? Maybe adding an extra coat would help? It's hard to say, but one of the things I use that seems to work well is Future Floor Wax. I also know of someone who dips her beads in the floor wax, then bakes them again for about 5 minutes to harden the finish. She's very happy with the results and it leaves a rock hard shiny finish. You might try that, hope this helped some!

| Sweet. Thanks for the tips. I have seen that future floor wax recommened on other sites, but have never saw it anywhere. Is that just something I could pick up at the Wal-Mart? You do know your clay though JennRuth! It seems you are always coming to everyone's rescue on here! Thanks a bunch! |
