Hi! I am trying to make a pendant with a transfer. I am using glossy photo paper (Tesco brand, UK) with a Canon inkjet printer and Fimo Deko Gel. I have no problem with the transfer (after many many tries, now I get a nice clear image on a clear thin plastic). The problem is when I try to glue this transfer to a piece of white Fimo Soft. I ´ve tried using Deko Gel over raw clay but while I was baking it, it got many bubbles. The result was VERY dissapointing. I´ve read that you can use Superglue over baked clay. Did anyone try this? Any tip you can give me?

I am beginning to believe that I cannot put the transfer again in the oven without getting bubbles... Confused

I also wonder how will I finish the piece. I guess I will have to make a bezel or something to cover the corners. Otherwise, it will be quite obvious that it´s made of 2 pieces.

I´d really appreciate any advice on making this transfer pendant! Sad
Best Regards,
Paula

Perhaps you should try baking it right on the clay surface.

Put a coat of the liquid polymer on both the clay and the surface of the photo. You won't have to worry about bubbles if it is baked directly onto the clay.
