Hi everyone! i'm rather new to the whole fimo/scupley clay thing as i've been playing with air dryin clay which got rather frustrating and messy.. i did get a job once sellin a different type of polymer clay.. an air drying kind which is less durable and more for kids.. so i was psyched when i tried the sculpey clay cause it makes the stuff look soo much more professional (coz im rather bad i suppose :p)
Questions now.. im more into sculpting then canning(which i do think is fantastic by the way) faces in particular.. can anyone reccommend any good links ??
2) which range of sculpey or fimo would be best for figures?? i'm currently using sculpey 3 but just bought a box of super sculpey.
3) can anyone Please tell me how to create a metallic look for the clay? i read a little about the whole buffing/sandpapering but i have no clue.. the last time i tried to sandpaper my work i almost ruined it O.O
i just did a cast with an imprint of my guinea pig paw to be made into a pendant and would like it to look shiny and metallic
