I'm new to the forum and somewhat to sculpey; have used it off and on the last few years. I'm now pretty serious about sculpting with sculpey and need to know if you can burn incense in a sculpey art piece. I know you can't cook or eat out of it. And I also know it has a very distinct smell when baking your piece. But would it be TOXIC to burn incense in it.

thanks much

Well I never tried but I'd bet it would not be a good idea to have something red hot up against this. "Polymer" basically means plastic! Very toxic stuff if it burns.

But... if your tallking about one of those incence STICK holders, nothing red hot will come in contact with it then. That might be fine.

(Hmmm. good idea too. I'll have to try this.)
