I got the idea from one of the polymer clay books and made this for my mom

That is SOOO CUTE!!!

Did you use any paints or was it all clay? The colors on it are very nice.

Looks like Santa Clause in the summertime Very Happy

Adorable! I've got to ask, how did you get your picture to be so clear? One of my biggest problems is taking photos of my work, they're either blurry or too far away to see the details. Your picture is great, any suggestions on photo taking?

Yes I did use for his beard, Folkart Antiquing Medium by Plaid, it is Apple Butter Brown. Then for his shirt, I mixed black acrylic paint and water.

LOL He does look like a Santa Claus.

Thank you!

I have a 4 MP digital camera with a Macro zoom on it. I use it for my jewelry as well and get very clear images.

When shopping for a digital camera you need to make sure it has a macro zoom, so you can get right in on your subject, up close.

Your photo is great and your figure even better....is this from one of carlson books?...I love her ideas...thanks for sharing this
