Hi everyone,

I've had some questions on Translucent with Bleach: specifically, for those of you who have used it, do you prefer it over regular Translucent? Do you notice a major difference in the clarity of the Translucent with Bleach after baking? Any problems with scorching?

Thanks in advance for your replies!

Premo translucent has a little bit of a yellowish undertone to it, that seems more pronounced after baking. The Premo bleached translucent does not have that yellowish cast, even after baking. The yellowish undertone of regular translucent is not noticeable when I completely blend it in other Premo colors, though.

The translucency of both clays seem the same to me. Both show plaque if I'm not very careful about how I condition them. Both translucent polymer clays seem softer to me after conditioning than the Premo colors. I condition polymer clay by hand.

I've also found that the translucent clays are much softer than the others. I've had the yellowing problem after baking the regular translucent, I haven't had the chance to try the translucent with bleach yet. From what I understand the translucent with bleach is not available in stores or in the 2 oz. size.

The Clay Store carries it in the large Premo section.
