I've been using polymer clay to create dolls and other things for at least
20 years. I bought a new product for mold making that was white and
extremely sticky. I kept adding regular polymer clay and finally talcum\
powder to get rid of the horrible stickiness (It was like greasy cookie
dough!) I think the product was made by sculpey but am not sure, I bagged the product and somehow lost the box. Anyway, I probably added
10 times the amount of regular sculpey to get rid of the worst of the stickiness. There's got to be a better way. I used to use sculpey eraser
clay for the same thing. It was flexible enough I could release my molded
piece. Can someone tell me about a product that will do a better job than
than this white sticky stuff or how to resolve the problems I'm having with it.
sincerely,

I had the same problem. That sculpey mold maker, didnt make molds very well for me. The product was so sticky. I too added extra clay, but to no avail. Also you are supposed to be able to use that product to help soften clay that is hard or crumbly. Well, it didnt end up crumbly aymore, it ended up STICKY |
