Hi,
I have just joined this forum.
I need some help. I make cake toppers, but I have just been asked to make a pinstripe suit. Its chocolate brown suit with blue pinstripe. I have been thinking as I have just started the suit, shall I paint it carefully using acrylic paints afterwards, or is there something I should do before I bake it?
I am so stuck it needs to be done in a few days and I would really appreciate your help as soon as possible.
Many thanks.

This may be a tedious solution, but if you make the suit all brown, then use blue thread to simulate the pinstripes, it might be easier than trying to paint them. Just make sure your thread will not melt when you bake it. I've used cotton thread with no problem.

Thank you for your reply.
I have got thread, but I am not sure if its cotton it says-
70% polyamid 30% polyester. Is that what you used in the oven?
Sounds risky?

| I would do a test piece- small amount of clay and a few threads. See what happens. |
