Hello all, I am a new customer at the clay store, but am attracted to the atmosphere of the site already!
I am looking for a heat paint that I can use on my sculpts with the prosculpt clay. I have been using regular blush or a pink chalk for blushing my little people so far and it has worked out well, but I have been reading that some artists use the Genesis brand of heat paint. Does anyone have any information on this type of paint and will the clay store possible carry it (if it does in fact work with the polymer) in the future?
What does everyone else use to blush their people sculpts with?
Any info I will appreciate!
Thanks!

Hi Betty,
I have worked with Genesis heat set paint and found it to be fairly easy to use. I applied it after my piece had been cured, and the nice thing about it is that it stays wet until "heat set" which means you can wipe off mistakes and start over. I know some people use a heat gun with it, I just put the piece back in the oven for about 5 minutes and it set the paint perfectly. We did offer a set of the heat set paints last Christmas season and they were popular. I am planning to have them back in stock at The Clay Store as soon as I can get them from my distributor (probably in the next couple of weeks or so). I will be happy to let you know when they are in, I will also post it here on the forum.
Best Regards,
Susan
