Hi,

Does anyone use toaster oven for 5" high fimo figurines? are they safe?

Have you tried this yet? haha.. I don't know for sure I just got my toaster oven, used my conventional oven before that, but my guess would be that if it is touching any part of the toaster oven that it isn't a good idea. I would imagine that it would burn from touching the sides, possibly start a fire. I sit my toaster oven where I can see it when I am using it, it has a glass door so I can see in, that helps. You could always practice with some scrap clay, make something quick, roughly the same size/shape and keep an eye on it. I know you wouldn't want to ruin anything you put a lot of work into. If you are worried though, I would just use your normal oven, better to be safe then sorry!
